About One Direction...
One Direction are a English and Irish pop boy band, members of the band being: Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Style, Liam Payne and former member Zayn Malik.
They all started on the XFactor in 2010 in the UK. Each of them individually started off on their own and later in the competition they got put together during boot camp. The boy band came 3rd in the competition and they then released their first single, "What Makes You Beautiful" in 2011.
After they released "What Makes You Beautiful" they brought out an album called "Up All Night" later that year, which Directioners all round the world loved.
Due to the success of the album, they brought out a second album the next year, called "Take Me Home". They brought out new albums every year for the past five years, "Midnight Memories", "Four" and "Made In The AM".
They have toured every album apart from "Made In The AM", their latest album.
They have achieved several awards over the past years and brought out 3 movies, 'Up All Night: The Live Tour', 'This Is Us' and 'One Direction: Where We Are - The concert Film'. They are on hiatus for a while and some members are bringing out new music and Harry is in a new movie 'Dunkirk' coming out Summer 2017.
Why I Chose Them...
Research I Did...
I chose them as they are my inspiration when it comes to singing.
One day I would hope to be able to do what they are doing, performing on stage and recording albums.
When it came to research I didn't have to do much as I already knew a lot about them from when I first became a fan. Although when I first started being a fan I used to see a lot of information about them on social media.
Their Career Path & Artwork...
Why do They Inspire Me...
Their career path is music, as they are all musicians signed to a record label. Their artwork is albums full of songs and music videos which have been filmed for their singles.
They inspire me as one day i would love to be able to sing on stages just like they do all round the world.
